Plastic Film Recycling Drop-Off Locations

Plastic bags, envelope mailers and wrapping material are being recycled by Trex, the company that makes products like long-lasting plastic decking materials, fencing and outdoor benches. Drop-off bins are located at the Big Y and Price Chopper Bottles & Cans Redemption rooms and at the Hillsdale Super Market.

Types of bags produce, newspaper, bread, dry cleaning, and zip-top food storage bags (clean and dry)

Plastic shipping envelopes (remove labels), bubble wrap and air pillows (deflate)

Product wrap on cases of water/soda bottles, paper towels, napkins, disposable cups, bathroom tissue, diapers, and female sanitary products

Furniture and electronic wrap

Plastic cereal box liners (but if it tears like paper, do not include)

Please recycle only clean, dry plastic bags and wraps.
